Could also be written up as ReHe10 and created as a potion if vis was an issue and campaigns do not tend to have frequent battles.
Note - could be argued that the base needs to be higher if the water-steam-water process was too volatile, so I added an extra mag. Might need another, I’m not sure.
I am already taking that into account! The barrel holds a base individual of processed liquids, not a base individual of plain water (which would be a pool 15 paces across and 2 deep - far more than 100 gallons). But I edited the post to make it explicit!
cunningrat1: Fafnir:In my game, I'd probably insist on a Size modifier, since the base Individual for wine is 1/100th the size, just to avoid the cheese factor. I think "Object of Increased Size" doesn't affect noble metals for the same reason.

I don’t follow where the 10000 gallons of water is to make 100 gallons of wine. Don’t you need 100 times the source material to get the result? If you only have a few hundred gallons of water you only get 2 gallons of wine. What am I missing?

We don't play it that way, though I am not 100% sure whether it is a house rule or not For us 1 liter becomes 1 liter.
It just feels wrong (and is prone to abuse) that you can change volume so much just by changing the type of medium.
Trinket of Instrumental Security
PeMe 5 (1 use per day)
R: Touch, D: Mom, T: ind.
This small opal set in a silver necklace is a lesser enchanted device that, when used, removes a single fact from the mind of the target. It was created by the student of a maga who wanted her apprentice to utilize her other enchanted devices in their work, but did not trust the apprentice to refrain from their use at other times. By use of the Trinket of Instrumental Security she was able to remove knowledge of the activation trigger for a single enchanted device from her apprentice's mind every day after the apprentice had finished their work. The laboratory text for this device includes +3 a material bonus for opal. With the material bonus, most apprentices are capable of creating more than one such device in a single season. Typically bound with the laboratory text for the Trinket of Instrumental Security is a matching text for the creation of the Gem of Mystery a nearly identical device - an enchanted opal that, once per day, when handeled removes any knowledge of what effect it is enchanted with.

Soulcatcher
MuVi 15
R:Touch, D:Conc (maintained by item), T:Ind
+6 Penetration, 3 uses/day
This dagger, with a handle elaborately carved from cypress wood, can catch and hold up to 3 minor magic spirits of Might 5 or less (as per The Wicked Jar, RoP:I, applying to magic spirits instead of demons) if it comes in contact with them. In order to keep them imprisoned, the user must feed the blade a drop of his own blood at dawn and dusk; otherwise, they are released. Some spirit masters of the Order give soulcatchers to their grogs, and have them roam the countryside hunting for lesser ghosts, will-o-wisps, and other minor entities - that are eventually brought back to the spirit master to be enslaved. Many a hunter became a quarry and never returned; but when a soulcatcher is forged, three arcane connections are made to it that allow tracking it down and/or magically retrieving it.Base 3 [Transform a spirit of Might 3+2 magnitudes so it becomes part of the item], +1 Touch, +1 Conc, +5 levels maintains concentration, +2 levels 3 uses/day, +3 levels Penetration +6.

Faerie Poker
This cast-iron fire poker has been enchanted to reduce the magical potency of faerie creatures. If the effect penetrates the faerie’s MR it loses 5 points of might. The poker is limited in power so it acts more as a deterrent rather than a true weapon. Iron adds a +7 lab bonus.
Perdo Vim 10 (Base effect, +1 Touch)(+3 levels for +6 Penetration)(+2 levels for 3 uses per day)
The poker is cheap and easy to craft due to the +7 lab bonus. This could also be a single use potion shaped as iron knives instead of a fire poker, to be thrown, as:

Are you sure this effect is valid? I think this effect might be invalid because the MuVi spell is still targeting something which is not in the dagger?

Yes. It is not a "metamagic" spell. Check out the Wicked Jar in RoP:I.
A candidate for the InIm item, which also happens to be inspired by a webcomic about roleplaying, ref: d20monkey's webcomic.
Hat of Many Eyes - a tall bulbous brown leather hat (or is that fur, or both? yuk) which has been "treated" with ointments and solutions to retain peak moistness, elasticity, and shape of whatever foul creature was used to craft it. The hat is covered in palm sized green eyes with yellow highlights, which periodically blink and weep. The hat appears altogether unnatural and disturbing.
When activated the wearer may concentrate to shift their perspective to any direction around them. Inside the rim of the hat is a clear glass lense set in a silver frame, which grants a lab bonus of +5.
Intellego Imaginem 16 (Base 1, +1 Touch, +2 Sun, +3 Special Target (based upon Room +1 as used in Sight as through a Plethron Distant from MoH p.101))(+1 level for 2 uses per day)
(could also be made as a small clear glass lense worn as jewelry or a nick nack if the hat is just too repulsive/silly "charm of the watchful parent"?).
The weirdness of Intellego Imaginem is that the target is the thing observed, so this hat could allow the wearer to see images of any size +1 or smaller thing that they touch, so perhaps see the other side of a door or the underside of a table, a book that someone in front of you is reading, or perhaps the contents of a closed book or box (although light might be an issue). But eyes in the back of your head and similar effects should really use the special target from Sight as through a Plethron Distant from MoH. (you could change it to range voice and duration concentration for a pretty cool item)

Updated for reflect this. Wouldn't it be viable to say that the spell is allowing the person to see the other side of the hat?
Cow Heard's Whip
ReAn 13 (12 uses per day)
R: Touch, D: Conc. (Item maintains) T: Ind.
This enchanted whip, when placed in a doorway or gate less than 4 paces across, wards the doorway against mundane animals who are unable to pass through it. The opening is only warded for as long as the whip is within the opening. Mundane animals are unable to move the whip when it is active.
(base 2, +1 touch, +1 concentration, +5 levels item maintains concentration, 4 levels 12 uses per day)
The rules for a ward say that he target is the thing that is protected. In this case the protected thing is an opening. Whether an opening qualifies as a thing might be matter of debate, but I think it is a reasonable interpretation.

Shovel of Herculean Endeavors (PeAn 15)
R: touch, D: Mom, T: Room
While ostensibly a shovel for mucking out stables, the enchanted part of this item truly is just a staff with a shovel bolted on. When the butt-end of the shovel is tapped thrice on the ground of a stable or room, it destoys all animal waste-products inside the room. It is highly suggested that this be done when the animals inside are taken out for pasture, as the sudden destruction can disturb the unsuspecting beasts.

Orchard-bearer's gift: (InHe 10)
R: Touch, D: Sun, T: Smell
A carefully woven wide-brimmed hat with embroidered images of cedar-trees apon it, this enchanted farmer's hat allows the wearer to smell any rot, diseases, or infestations in fruits that they are tending. Naturally, the wearer must be close enough to smell the fruits for it to be useful. This item is commonly borrowed when people go to market, in addition to the intended purpose of finding rot in the orchards.

R: Touch, D: Mom, T: VisionA simple silver brooch with the image of a sheep leaping over a fence stamped into it. This item allows a the Shepherd to cast his eye over his flock and know exactly how many sheep there are - this device allows the grogs tending the large herds of the covenant to count the number of sheep they have in their care at the end of the day before going to sleep to ensure none have gone missing, and then checking again in the morning that no sheep has gone missing in the night.
