A winter incursion

Zarkut will now try tracking down the spirit, moving around the covenant to anywhere he imagines there might be unattended food.

If and when he encounters the spirit again, he will attempt a spontaneous PeVi to destroy Magic Might, aiming at a level 10 effect (voice/mom/ind -10 might), and using LLSM to commit to getting a 25 casting total. His base roll is d10+10, not sure how we're doing dice.

I am rolling at home.
In this case it came up with a single botch- giving you one warping point and allowing the spirit to affect you through your parma- however your natural stamina still resisted his attempt to cause you sickness.

Lares continues to Albrecht:

"It would be great if you could try to see where it emerges next. We need to catch it as soon as we can."

I'll try and see whether Muto Auram is more successful than Muto Mentem at making him physical. Base 4, +1 touch, D: Mom, free terram requisite. With target of 5, penetration would be d10/2+9.

Zarkut will rest, then try again as soon as the spirit shows itself again.

(I used Rego Mentem, not Muto - the idea was to control it to use its power to don the corporeal veil. But maybe it didn't have that power.)

How long did it take for the spirit to emerge again for the altercation with Zarkut? Just trying to figure out if Lares would be up and about by then.

30 minutes

Argentius hangs with the group and when the spirit is spotted again, he attempts to engage it in conversation again to stall it from going elsewhere.

Lares will be resting during the altercation with Zarkut, so he will not be around. After 12 more minutes, he will be good to go again.

Finally the group is back together as familiar and spirit search for the entity, and it is not long before it is discovered heading towards Silas' sanctum.

"Uh oh. What could it want there?" Lares rushes off towards Silas' sanctum.

Tastheus didn't really take attention to the movements outside his laboratory. But finally, he rushed out his sanctum to look the situation.

"What's up, sodales ? Why do you do so much sounds ? How can I study in this condition ?"

Certainly he needs a little time to understand what happen...

Argentius takes a moment to bring Tastheus up to speed. "... and so we're following this hunger spirit o try to deal with it before more children or food is destroyed."

"A..." He stops a short time, just need to his mind to accept the sentence of his sodales. "what ?"

No sense to let a spirit doing his law inside the covenant. Without a time, Tastheus begins to incant, hoping his magic is strong enough to get through and hurt the spirit.

Trying to do a spell PeVi 10. Something like Demon's eternal oblivion but against a spirit.
Penetration d10/2 + 9.

Right now the spirit is in Silas' sanctum- is everyone planning to violate the sanctum en masse?

Lares knocks on Silas' sanctum door.

"Are you there, Silas? Everything all right?"

While Silas does not answer you hear the sounds of arguing from within.

Argentius looks at the door of the sanctum for a moment and then turns away. He hustles to find one of the automatons that work the covenant and gives it orders.

"Go into Magus Silas' sanctum and instruct him to come speak to us immediately. This is urgent!"

The auromaton walks into Silas' sanctum.

FYI the automatons can only follow a limited set of directions and cannot speak.
