Oh, I like that mechanic, although you tend to lose Quest points (Jinni come in 5 Might increments). Danae used her 8 Quest points for a 15 Might Terram creature that will hang around until the next Spring.

Rewards are 48 BPs (diff 12x 8 rewards): Automaton Theatre Mechanica of Heron Tractatus Quality 9, in Ancient Greek (9 BPs) ; Metrica, Artes Liberales Tractatus Level 7, Mechanica of Heron Tractatus Quality 10 in Ancient Greek (17 BPs), and an Aeolipile (14 BPs), and an Infernal lore Tractatus Q8. Is this ok? The story involved a member of the Augustan Brotherhood stealing "trinkets" from Roger II because he recognized them as Heron's Mechanica -related, and he wanted to integrate this with Brotherhood lore. The thief was also put in charge of investigating, but he was caught and fried by Evandrus after proving himself also an Infernalist.

One note- Hadrian was not listed as a participant in the monsters adventure- please remember to list the grogs you are planning to include! As much as this sucks you did not have Hadrian along, and need to find another way to resolve the adventure.

Spring:
5)Jinn quest - first cycle magic - Danae goes with her pal, Earth Wahabb, whose service will end sometime after (or during, he was bound at the end of a 14 day adventure in Spring, so there about).

Summer:
1) COVENANT HOOK following the suspicious deaths of Baldwin of Jeruselum, Adelaide del Vasto, and Pope Paschalle investigators from the court of Roger II wish to journey into the realm of the dead for answers. Of course being a faerie region you realize the only answers they will get are ones which lead to good stories, and probably stir up trouble. The court is quite insistent- first cycle combat: Danaë is willing to go, Lady A should go to help assuage these diplomats, Andros is willing to go+ Simian Rex, Paco grog, + Pazzino

3) Sandor, dark secret- some of the peasants in Siderno are commenting that Sandor doesn't look much like his supposed father, who is rumored to be invalid, and are consulting a hedge witch to determine his parentage. First cycle magic- Lady A has to quickly deal with this, Sandor, Danaë will be asked, Pazzino if he may, and 2 of Lady A's servants, Gervassio stand-in and Colette stand-in. She will beg the participants to keep this matter quiet.

Fall:

Winter:

Andros is willing to help in #7 if asked, what a worthy cause! If he goes, the monkey goes as well.

Gloriana will not go to any, even #1, as her Blatant Gift would be problematic in front of the court of Roger.

Danaë can help in #4 and #7 as well, if asked.

Sybilla has no adventures, she's a child!

Sandor won't help in any other adventure, his mother won't allow it. Foiled again!

Adventure 4: Vis Hunt
They find a largish Worm, which promptly attacks!

Aegis: Single Weapon(Short Sword)(5)+Str(2)+Stress(6)=13 Success!

Based on reports of a huge worm breathing out clouds of choking dust the group begins its hunting expedition. The magical worm tries to sneak up on them, but they notice the Worm before it sneaks up on them. Hadrian puts several arrows into it, and Aegis finishes it off with a stab through the neck. Aegis writes that not being able to breath is extremely unsettling.

A church in the area has found a glowing plant deep in a forest. In a magic aura. That grew in a pile of Terram Vis. Some people have taken it as a sign from God. It takes some cajoling, finding out rumors, lots of compelling reasoning and a promise they'll advocate for sending some excess silver to this church if the Covenant needs to dump resources. They also take the Terram vis.
Results:
Time: 10 days
Experience: 5
Rewards: 3 Terram Vis, Resonant Material for He.

Spring:
5)Jinn quest - 1 cycle (magic) challenge 6 - Danae goes with her pal, Earth Wahabb, whose service will end sometime after (or during, he was bound at the end of a 14 day adventure in Spring, so there about).

Danaë soars through the clouds, accompanied by the surly, reticent jinn, Wahabb. They journey from mystic spot to mystic spot all across the coast of the Dark Continent, until finally she spots a dark gully some other spirit spoke of. Magic Lore success. Although she has questioned him extensively, Wahabb claims not to know other nearby brothers or sisters. The reticent creature with his keen otherworldly senses points out a dark shape flitting in the shadows, probably the spirit of this place. Second Sight success Danae immediately goes to greet this potential new friend. Big mistake! A pack of dark Faerie Ghuls materialize, intending on sucking her marrow, gulping her eyeballs, and even scream something about emasculating Wahabb himself! The pair dodge, weave, until Danae manages to create a Ward which the creatures cannot break. Penetration success. They gather their wits, bid farewell to the hissing monsters, and fly off. Wahabb admits that he might know where one or two other jinns might be located, of a less hostile nature. Perhaps if he were to accompany her some more they could be introduced?

Magic:

So I'm guessing this adventure accumulates 6 Quest points or so(2 from adventure, 2 from 1 cycle, 2 from Reward), silveroak? Will hoard them for next time. Adventure was very short, she will go read something useful no one else has grabbed.
Danaë will attempt to rebind Wahabb, she has Te vis:

Binding Wahabb again takes 3 Confidence and 2 pawns of Te vis (and 1 Long term Fatigue, but that's easily recovered)

She will beg the participants to keep this matter quiet.

The informants for the Praesidium are always alert for relevant scuttlebutt, and thus they learn of a particularly cranky and contrary town elder in Siderno, Raffio, who has been complaining loudly about his lot, including Lady A in his ire. Apparently he is an ill-tempered lout, but he has been loud and incessant in his complaints, and has even boasted of knowing a supposed seeress two villages over. He has convinced some of the riffraff after a night of drunkenness to go with him and speak to this person because he is "concerned" the Brat of Siderno is a bastard, say, isn't his dad supposed to have lost his, ahem, working parts, over yonder in the Holy Land ? Is he even alive, who here has seen him in the past few years? That Lady A consorts with sorcerers! "Uhh, aren't we going to see a witch?" "Not the same thing, my fellow, not the same thing!" quickly exclaims Raffio.

Danae and company are gathered in a mission most delicate by Lady Agniezka. It was inevitable that this would happen, after the mighty magics had spiraled out of Evandrus's control a few years back. The spawn of that disaster was a blessing to Lady A, a son after all this time! This was a gift horse whose mouth no one would look into! And he did look like Severinus, didn't he; she certainly presented him to look so. But his "father", her husband was a crippled recluse who would not even deign to acknowledge the little boy's presence.

They ask around and quickly locate the likely abode of this hedge magician, Magic Lore success. Lady A wonders how oracular powers work within a Hermetic context; this would be a wonderful subject for research. She quickly deduces this might not be an ordinary Gifted individual. Such powers have not worked accurately since the birth of the lord savior Jesus Christ. Perhaps this witch is adept at a Corpus equivalent, to get a feeling for whatever arcane connection to Sandor they might have procured? Magic Theory success Meanwhile, Sandor doesn't really get what's going on, except that someone's making fun of his father and himself. That makes him so mad! But mother just wants to talk, always talk-talk. The disembodied voice of Wahabb the Mightily Stoic warns them there are spying spirits about, little nothing ghosts. Second Sight success

The rustic farm where the this alleged sorceress appears deserted. But the air is tense, and suddenly GervassioStand-in grabs Lady A quite forcefully, pulling her behind him, a black-feathered shaft decorates his shield. Premonitions success A great hound with a ghostly appearance bears down upon Danaë, and snaps at Sandor fiercely. Apparently the alleged hedge magician a member of a gang of bandits, and they are not going to be taken alive! But Wahabb grapples with the beast and tosses it aside violently, and it smashes its back against a tree. It turns into a naked man, a pot bellied unattractive fellow. He starts to change again, but Wahabb turns him to stone, and everyone gasps. Flesh to Stone success. "It will only last until dusk" The other bandits surrender or flee, Wahabb creates hands of stone that grapple and terrify the outlaws. Ruler of Earth success

In a nearby cottage they find the actual bandit lair. Some members of the Siderno community are found tied up and stripped of their possessions. They are beyond grateful for the rescue, and are surprised that it's their Lady come to deliver them! And the future lord! The men are safely returned to Siderno, and several days are spent with Lady A consolidating her power here and identifying troublemakers, the hedge magician is let go to warn others about messing with Siderno or the Praesidium, he hands over his meager store of vis. Intrigue success Lady A then assumes the persona of her husband and visits the town elders, speaking with all, letting himself be seen at all hours, speaking glowingly of his wife and son. Sandor is alternately baffled, thrilled, and terrified! Persona success. But he will rule! They then take stock of the situation to see who are the holdouts, who and why they don't support Lady A or Sandor. She has stamped such talk, for now. Folk Ken success
