Ars Magica Open License Announcements

Just a note to remind other authors outside the US that their dollar has slid hard against other currencies. I'm OK for the moment because most of my work is on US platforms and recorded in USD by Patreon, but it does mean that when I'm paying authors or tax payments in other currencies, things cost 10 percent more than they did last year.

Double check your numbers. Mine are within tolerances I can handle, but the price per page of Mythic Europe magazine may need to be higher if the goal is to sell enough copies to pay for the next issue’s contents.

That’s awesome! Love this idea!

I’ve just looked at the actual figures and none of the paid contributors are USD this time, so it cost me about USD40 extra. Which doesn’t sound like a lot, but as a reminder 20%ish percent of my cover price goes to Drivethru which means USD40 is a fair bit in a smaller gaming community like Ars. Check your numbers, gang.

I have translated a second of my adventures into French: La Journee Sera RĂŒdiaria.
Same as last time, here is the dedicated thread to discuss it.

Just a ping here as well, as there's likely some wider interest that we just finished a reviewed release of the Markdown version of Ars Magica Definitive Edition on GitHub

Also, the team has fix-review-completed 16 of the 53 books now.

Just in case you aren't following the dedicated thread for the project (it's long, so I assume not too many). This will be my last post here on the topic (I'll get the original work going instead).

Update: The markdown version of DE now has clickable convenience links for TOC, All Virtues & Flaws, Complete Spells Index, Spell Guidelines Index, Bestiary Index, and (wip) Traditional Index. Should be a breeze to navigate.
