I didn't remember what that ability did.
It was the blade which was deflected , If it had just been the flame being defeated by Parma magica I would have allowed the blade to strike but with the flame going out while the blade was within the parma magica
Groovy. That's what I do as well.
Since it is a new round, after my failed attack but before the witch's turn, I Fast Cast a multi-cast Pillium of Fire right in her face (or back of her head, whatever).
For this, I dump two Fatigue Levels into the first pilium, for a bonus of +10. And I am able to spend some confidence if needed.
The spell is succesfully multicast
(although I am uncertain about allowing a fast cast of a multicast spell)
As Roberto does not have stalawt casting for this spell casting 5 pilums of fire with the -10 for fastcasting would reduce him to uncociousness so I am going to assume a single cast.
The pilum of fire is being cast with a casting total of 10 due to the fast cast penalty first spell goes off with fatigue as a penetration of 12, spending 2 confidence boosts that to 18 allwoing the spell to penetrate the witches Parma inflicting a great burn (Heavy wound) across her back, as she is distracted Mageara hits her with an Arrow which sinks into her abdoman inflcitng another heavy wound. (The defensive spell defelcts one attack per round)
With multicasts Tearing my enemy at the witch and impressivly gets the spell through her defenses twice inflciting 2 medium wounds.
Teh giants turn back and charge Roberto Roberto deflects one blow with his shield but the other smashes into his shoulder breaking his collarbone (Heavy wound)
Two of them swing at him with clubs while the boarheaded figure picks up the witch

Question - Did you include my Defensive spells? Howl of Steel Weapons gives me a +9 Defense versus metal, and Shriek of the Wooden Shafts gives me +9 versus wood.
Still, if that severly injured, I will Wizard's Leap to get myself out of there. Fast Cast and spending Fatigue if need be. I pull back the full fifty yards.
The club was made of Bone. You act first in the round so no need to fast cast
Remind me to invent a corpus version of that spell 
I Wizard Leap back about fifty yards, collapsing on the ground. I wince in pain but utter nary a sound. I let my sword go out, and lay it to the side. I observe the combat (let me know how the rest of the round plays out), and prepare to cast another spell (at the start of the next round).
This will be delayed until my temper drops below its current incandescent level. Hopefully will not take long
Deep down inside, you feel the fire of Flambeau
Despite the difficult of the shot Mageara puts another arrow into the badly wounded witch and it appears that this last hit has proven fatal . The Demonic figures glare at the magi and then screeching in triumph fade away taking with them the body (and presumably the soul of the witch)
Roberto crosses himself and whispers a prayer of thanks to the allmighty.

I then cast "Purification of the Festering Wound" upon myself. With Loud Words and Exaggerated Gestures, plus a Heavy Wound and the +1 aura, I have a casting total of +11. So I most likely loose a fatige unless I roll very very well.
Since my portion of this adventure is through, are there any awards for xp or confidence?

Following the battle with the demons and the witch , Roberto's wounds are tended , Mageara has a salve enchanted to provide +12 on recovery rolls from wounds. The witch seemed to be carrying 4 pawns of Corpus vis in the form of vials of Blood although this could of course be infernally tainted.
Before returning to the Faerie Road which will take then to rendezvous with Clara and Iolar , Mageara leads the group to the Witches lair by followng the trail which she took to get here . In the lair a blood soaked alter is found and destroyed also found are 8 Pawns of Corpus vis in the same vials and some texts in Greek and Latin. The Texts in Greek are read by Mageara accoriding to her 3 of the 4 seem to be some sort of texts on matters diabolical and these are burnt the last seems to be a copy of Homers Poetry.
The latin books are a Lab Text for Confusion of the Numbed Will, A tractatii on Vim , a Tractatii on Mentem , a Tractatii on Regoand a Summae on Corpus.
Collecting these books the group heads back along the faerie road this time the journey is uneventful . They arrive at the crossroads where they had intended to rejoin the others . Iolar is there waiting for them on her own.
At this point I can do to things , 1 Bring this story to a conclusion where the ritual is not completed, 2 Carry on with my intended plot to torment Wirth, or 3 Wrap up with a succesful ritual I wiil take opinions

How the hell did this witch came into possession of hermetic texts? This is a grave matter, we should inform the quaesitores of it, we can't have infernalists running around casting hermetic spells.
As per the story... just don't hurt my wife!!! 
Thing is, anyway, even if this stops now, Wirth will keep on wanting to make himself and his wife immortal (Clara being the priority, as she's got this short human life)

Did you see the look on her face when I blasted her? Thought I was going to back stab her by surprise, she caught me off guard with her ward against weapons, but faster than she could react I torched her nice and good! Remind me to refine my PoF mastery, I thoght of a serious improvement I need to make...
I ask Meg how she wants to split the spoils. I figure that, since they are more experienced with the witches, she might have knowledge of how to deal with tainted vis and can have it purified. I offer to let her have the vis and we'll take the texts.

Even then. If even one of them has parma magica, it is our solemn duty as members of the order to report her and offer her the "join or die" choice, although, with infernalists, I think the only choice should be "die".
Mageara
These witches are a local tradition, it is known that some of them have fallen to the infernal but others of their tradition are members of the order of Hermes. It complicates things , I will notify one of the Quasitors when I return to my covenant. I am afraid I know almost nothing of Vis and how to purify it. I will let you take the spoils from this battle I am aleady well paid for my efforts with you
At the Crossroads
Iolar looks both unhappy and nervous
"Wirth , Roberto good to see you. I take it everything went alright for you . To Robero she sounds cheerful , to Wirth it seems she is actually very stressed and putting on a false front of cheer to hide the fact that she is afraid of something.
Then she seems to notice Roberto's wound for the first time
Both Roberto and Wirth notice her shoot a very suspicous look at Mageara
Roberto are you badly hurt? She seems to both Wirth and Roberto to sound genuinly concerned although Wirth also notices that since they arrived she has not been able to look at him.
