Controlling weapon with ReTe + Flight question

ReTe effect, control a weapon with a spell(concentration duration), maybe finesse to replace weapon skill?

What level, or is this even possible? I'd love an official guideline for this, since I am kinda the main SG atm(planning to revive an old 4th edition ars magica group), so I can't accept anything that isn't really canon.

Also, Wings of the soaring wind has increased in duration, I saw a ReCo20 spell with duration concentration to fly in one of the threads in here, would it really be so easy to fly in the current rules?

Well, this is just my opinion, not an official guideline.
For the weapon, i'd try (though there may be an official spell somewhere)

The Wizard's Guardian. ReTe 20

Allows The caster to control a metal weapon as he chooses. Use finesse as the combat ability.

Base 3, +2 Metal, +1 Conc, +2 Voice.

And yes. I suppose you can fly with a level 20 spell. Level 10 if you're willing to travel slowly. I'm not sure if I'd call it easy, but certainly useful.

I would personally consider a house rule +/- 3 Penality to the finesse score because this seems almost in fitting with craft magic.

Alternatively i'd consider saying it was finesse capped by their appropriate weapon skill.

There was a fourth edition "Dancing Sword" spell that had this effect, but I can't remember what it was off of the top of my head.

While the magnitude might be a bit different, I don't think the ReTe mechanics have changed so radically that it can't be easily adapted.

It was "Circle of Warriors" ReTe20 with a CR-Requisite if you needed to create four swords in the first place. Wizards griomoire IIRC.
You couldn't manipulate them, though. They attacked everything that came across, including healers...
