I could easily agree with an alternate view. I'm not all that happy with RAW when it comes to ice. Of course, we end up with problems too: If I need PeIg requisites to create ice at room temperature, do I also need that in the City of Brass or other molten place when I try to cast my CrTe spell that creates a sword?
