What happens if a Daedene (sp?) mage casts a spontaneous spell, with fatigue, the spell relates to a focus the mage has.

Do you:
A. Double the lowest art twice? (lowest art x4?)
B. Triple the lowest art (lowest art x3)
C. Double the lowest art. (lowest art x2) effectively rendering the focus moot
D. Smack the player over the head for being a powergamer

You can look in the infernal book, under the section on Cathonic magic which describes something similar to your question...The simple answer is triple your lowest art. (Assuming you have a major focus, a minor focus would double the lowest and then add the score a third time but limited by your higher art)

He's not particularly being a power gamer, and I'm sure he'll get smacked enough in game for being Diedne, which carries it's own just reward more often than not.

This isn't true. it has been corrected in the errata. Major and minor work the same now.
