New Version of Tyrion. I goofed on some math early on and fixed it by adding 5 years to his pre-apprenticeship (which means his parens kept him as a caged guinea pig for even longer). Skills, Arts and Spells are radically changed. Other changes are highlighted in green. If anyone wants to see the worksheet, I can post it as a PDF.

Similar to Conjure The Wizards Tower, only the resultant structure is a single story, 1-room cottage. While the exterior is a single block of stone with only minimal design elements (gargoyles in the corner, etc), the interior returns to Tyrion’s usual style of artifice, with many hidden spaces in the interior wall. You can actually design the chambers within, including a 2 "story" version sized for men of diminutive height, which may be partially below ground.

  • How do I handle getting a familiar in the 5 years post gauntlet (spend xp? Spend time?)
  • Does Fumidus start with a lab at the new covenant?
  •  ideas for 10th virtue/flaw?

Sounds fine by me. I assume that the math is ok.
Q: Is the magus okay so far?
A: I think so.
Q: How do I handle getting a familiar in the 5 years post gauntlet (spend xp? Spend time?)
A: Spend a season, write a few words on how you did it and get a familari of moderate power.
Q: Does Fumidus start with a lab at the new covenant?
A: Yes but it is a inherited one. Look for a magus who has a lab but has not participated in stories lately. If that seems to be to tedious or to difficult then just take a -1 size lab with some virtue and flaw that does not necessary agree with your magus.
Q: ideas for 10th virtue/flaw?
A: Perhaps something that impairs your magic such as a difficulty with spontaneous magic (as a compensation for your flawless understanding of spells) or something similar.

Note: I realised that animals don't like smoke, so I decided against a familiar.

Bonus: 4, which means no experimentation needed in the second season of generating the spell

lab: Frederick's undecorated lab seems fine (player Thijs: 119 posts, Last visited: Mon Aug 03, 2009 10:50 am) and very empty.

Something about this covenant attracts perfectionists. Lots of flawless magic sorts. Personally I think it is good since it means nasty auras aren't as bad for us.

As for familiar, if eventually you go for a dragon familiar or some soft of fire spirit (spirit familiar), the smoke won't be bad. Just need to get your arts up.
