Doppelganger Glamour Spell

I am curious about the Doppelganger glamour spell (Source: Magi of Hermes, 124). For reference:

DOPPELGANGER
CrIm(Me) 40, R: Touch, D: Sun, T: Ind, Req: Mentem
This Glamour spell (see page 101 in Houses of Hermes: Mystery Cults) creates a person’s doppelganger, with some limited freedom and simulated intellect. It may act independently but is under the caster’s control. Like all Glamour spells, the doppelganger has substance and can act as something that really exists. (Base 10, +1 Touch, +2 Sun, +1 Mentem requisite, +1 copy of someone, +1 moving parts)

When it comes to characteristics and skills, how close a copy is this? Would a copy of your favorite shield grog still be as good a fighter? Likely not, but some guidelines would be handy. Any thoughts?

This guidelines doesn’t enter in contradiction with the base guidelines for Im? In the core I don’t remember that ilusory objects could interact with material ones

@Tburla Check HoH:MC p. 101f Glamour (Major Illusion Mystery).

Much is left to troupe interpretation.

Personally, I would have it be very convincing copy almost identical on day 1 and have it lose quality as time passes and the Glamour starts losing it’s “imprint” of the original source. I would allow it to be as good as the original except if there is a merit that would be odd to replicate with Glamour. Keep in mind that the Doppelganger and all his duplicated equipment is resisted by MR and would also be suppressed by an Aegis as a foreign spell. Also, all caster of Glamour have the Vulnerable Magic flaw which means that the effect ends under a specific condition such as if iron touches the Doppelganger.

HoHMC p.101 has this quote: “Over time, however, the target begins to regain its mobility unless the caster regularly concentrates on the effect. For example, a person may be changed into a tree, but if ignored for a few days that tree may begin to move and resemble a person, as its essential nature begins to reassert itself over the glamour.”

Keep in mind also that the “caster’s control” is limited to direct commands by the caster as mental control would require 2 addl. magnitudes as per the same insert as above.
