familiar bond and power - familiar power to create in the magus the thought to use a power

Hi,

would it be possible that a magus creates a power in its familiar bond like a CrMe which puts in the magus a momentary thought and action (maybe ReMe momentary) to use a power on him (since the familiar bond doesn’t normally allow a familiar to activate a power on itself: familiar activates on magus, and vice versa, but the magus may not be aware that the familiar needs “such” power to be used at that precise time (eg if they are not together).

Also, could the initial “i don’t think so” answer be mitigated if the “to be activated” power (by magus, on familier) have a linked trigger to the “impulse” power the familiar use (on magus)? I see nothing in the “linked trigger” rules saying that in the familiar bond, it can only be between powers of the same party (magus => familiar or vice versa).

Also if the activated/linked second power may require a finesse roll, who would roll it? magus or familiar? I’d say the lower of the two since it’s the magus finesse, but familiar activated. But i’m not sure if that answer would be the same for both cases, or if it’s only for the first idea, and it would be magus finesse in the second idea.

Thanks for your inputs.

The core book has a CrMe15 Mental communication power you can invest instead. and then you and the familiar can communicate over more than just “I need you to activate this power”

Yes but in combat, waiting for the magus to have his turn may be the difference between life and death, especially when the familiar is designed for combat and powers in the link are to render him better while the maga is maybe not even in the area, or herself already trying to dodge death.

Besides, asking the maga to take her turn in combat to use a power is also preventing her to cast a spell, or take a malus to her next fast cast speed for her spell to avoid death.

So my idea is to completely bypass the “need the maga to act”.
And to be clear, the CrMe vice-versa power is already in the link, but it was before the power to be activated and I don’t want the power to be activated each time the familiar talks to the magus, because the power to be activated has only 24/d uses, while the CrMe15 is unfinite time per day.

The trigger power would be 24/d (same for method 1 or 2).

To be more precise, the “power to be activated” is a teleport effect, allowing the familiar to blink behind the enemy and strike in one round by surprise.
