I am looking for some images from the books to add to my campaign or do I need to scan them in from the book?

Nearly all the images from the books are copyrighted by Atlas Games and/or by the individual artists, so it is illegal to make copies of the images without permission.

That said, if you do make copies for private use without distributing them, nobody else will know or care that you have done so.

There are a bunch of public domain and creative commons historical images available on the web. You need to be careful about rights, but many museums will have large collections of public domain images.

Here's a link to LACMA's search for example. Check the box that says "public domain images only."
