Hi there,

Anyone firm enough in Latin to suggest a name for a red bearded magus?

Barba is beard
Ruber seems to be red.

The (probably) Italian variant would be Barbarossa.

Any suggestion for a magus' name?

The classical variant is Ahenobarbus. Is there any reason not to use it for your magus?

Rufus was a well known Roman cognomon, and also meant "red"

While more to do with hair colour rather than beard colour, such a magus could be nick-named 'Rufus'.
Sort of like Australians nick-name red-haired people as either 'Bluey' or 'Ranga'.
