PeIg Effect Level 25
It's a foot-size disc with a high decorated rim. It should be placed at the ledger or some-such, perhaps within a box. The user places the item in the ring, and traces over it with his finger to make it freeze.
Why would he want to freeze his food? Why not simply preserve it, keep it fresh?
There's a device for that in Covenants.
Perhaps the Mercere's gifts can't get an adequate CrAn(He) score to make a device in a reasonable timeframe.
A LT of 38 is necessary to create the device in a single season without a lab text.
An even better version of the enchantment from Covenants is one that has a Muto Requisite, to make food smaller as it goes in so that one could put months worth of food.
In fact, it's a particularly brilliant way of storing food long term. If one put lots of extra cooked food away in such an item, it could feed an entire covenant for the duration of a famine.
You can't call them TV dinners, there is no TV!
Matchstick men !!
