Muto Immortality

On the other hand, I completely disagree. We have (as mentioned) rules for advancement of all immortal beings. In fact, in one of my sagas, we had a player roll horribly (24) on Aging and essentially go senile. So he sought out a way to firstly fix his mind before it completely eroded, and secondly, become immortal. This process took him a long time, and a lot of favours had to be called in (including plenty of vis trades), but he was eventually up to +3 on the stats he cared about. He then proceeded to Inscription on the Soul (Initiated by another member of the covenant who had that Virtue) and imbue any effects he thought he needed (And in the process getting dangerously close to Decrepitude 5 due to more terrible rolls), and then became a Living Ghost. All said and done, he had achieved his goals. You are correct that he can now never leave, but he forms a nice preternatural tether over our covenant and can sense when any comes within about 1000 paces of it, and he is still involved in stories, since he continues to (slowly) advance his knowledge, acting as a sort of magical encyclopedia for the other magi, and even teaching them in exchange for vis. The player who played him now plays more companions and grogs, but the magus is still his main character. He hasn't left the saga at all.
