1st Effect:
ReTe(Mu) 35 Circle of Warding
(Base 3, +2 Voice, +2 Sun, +1 Part,+1 Push Back

Depending on the strenght of the blow with which the
staff hits the ground, a concentric wave will form a
perfect full circle of jagged stone of up to 50 paces. The perfect circle will be maintained magically untill sunset. If
something were to interrupt the circle, it would be
pushed back by a physical force unless it can sustain
a strenght check of 12+.

The effect creates a full circle. To break the effect, one needs to cut in half the cirle, dispelled it or have the caster moves from the center of the circle.

If the area does not have the space to create the circle unobstructed(Too many trees/inside a building,etc.), the spell fizzles.

If a creature that has a MR tries to enter the circle,
it will be able to enter unobstructed by this effect.

If a deamon steps in the circle, it will feel great
pain & will loose 5 might points every other round if
the effect penetrates the MR.

If a deamon is slained withing the circle, the sulfur stench will remain, cointained within the circle itself for a undetermined time. This effect is believed to be a side effect left from the experimentation made to create this wand. (Apply the enduring magic virtue to the effect of "Circle of Warding".

the big snag with this design is that it breaks the one limit factor on Circle Target and Ring Duration.

Circle/Ring can be as big as one likes, but are much lower level than Boundary, etc. There is a game balance limit on the line that can be used: the requirement that the path be traced at no more than touch range,
no more than 10 paces per round,
and a Conc roll per round.
Those rules mean that large circles are (deliberately) very difficult to use...

So the problem with your device is the Ward/Oblivion effects with ring/circle but ignoring those limits. (A circle 50 pace across should require approx 30 rounds to trace, and 30 conc rolls - virtually certain to Botch and blow the whole spell!)

True.

But you must admit that it does give out the feeling of what a mage should be able to do (According to Mythic/fantastic mytholigy).

Since these spells do not require the caster to actually create the circle himself, the mystic link that allows a ring formation to sustain itself forever untill disturbed cannot be established. Rainar of house Tremere actually prefers this effect since he notes that the foul demons could find ways to distub the rings and thus bring death to whomever taught was protected. With this effect, he knew he was protected untill the sunset.
