Does that focus apply towards DEO?
One argument is that it is not a body level or a specific wound type, so the answer is no.
The other side, says that the damage is a specialized type of damage affecting might (spirit?) instead of body, so the answer is yes.
Opinions? C'mon, I know everyone has one...

The answer is no.
Why? Because the Major Focus: Damage is defined as "... as long as the effect does damage directly, either by inflicting a wound or doing a certain amount of damage which can be soaked."
DEO neither inflicts wounds nor can its effect be soaked.
