I'm having a new player join the game, and they're interested in making a Criamon who will study the effects of Warp. On the one hand, that can certainly have all sorts of fun in terms of side effects. On the other hand, I don't know what kinds of insight and eventual Breakthrough to have their research lead to. They're new enough to the game to honestly not have an opinion as to what their research should produce, and are honestly going to be happy with whatever I provide for them. I'm asking for ideas on possible breakthroughs that might be discovered in the research of warp/Twilight as the source of Insight.
Maybe something like the "Turning into a Faerie" thing, but for the Magic realm? Or if you don't want a new route to Immortality, a means of directing a Twilight? Right now you can modify it to be good, rather then bad, but how about control within those parameters? Or maybe a new category within Twilight, one that allows you to "ride" it? "Where did this Throne of Teleportation come from? Oh, good, you're out of Twilight! You've been in Twilight for 7 years, and you built this chair. Um, what does it do?"......
