I am a long-time reader of Ars Magica, but I've yet to play it.
I have been toying with a character idea that might be really fitting for a setting in Loch Ness, if there's room.
Might some name involving like Upheaval at Urquhart, or the Covenant of Columba after the saint who supposedly drove off the loch ness monster?

Not sure I understand the question. Are you asking what the covenant name might be? If so, it's been Insula Canaria since the covenant was founded in 1143. It may be possible to change the covenant name, by vote of the Council (i.e. hash it out in-game).
