I'm sorry if this has been up before, but I've been away from Ars some months. 
So, I've been thinking about something in Ars. For longer campaigns, and I mean long campaigns, Mythic Europe would reach the point when plate mail armor start to appear, and then, gunpowder.
Anyone know at what points in history these technologies appeared? Any specific years?
And what about Verditius? Could they invent gunpowder and plate mail?

I didn't know before, but I do now. 
They could invent something similar that does the same thing or better. There are infinite ways of doing this and I remember the subject being covered in another thread, I will try to find it.
