Revised Seasonal Plans Fiona in 1222. Subject to change, depending on things like what the Exploration Party finds in the Spring and whether they feel more exploration is warranted, the weather, how randy she feels, and whether I can come up with something else by the end of the game year.
Spring, 1222: Bond with Paul.
Summer, 1222: Study Emilia ex Jerbiton's Guide to Hosting Successful Tribunal Meetings. *
Autumn, 1222: Princeps Duty.
Winter, 1222: Teach Ulrich something.
just making up names for the text until we come with something that sticks
Jormungand will ask Alexei if Helmutt would be available in the Winter of 1222 to teach him the finer points of, well, Teaching, and ask what would be good compensation for the old man.
Need to have some revissions for 1221 and do 1222 activities... Of course, some of this is dependent on the order of the Princeps for 1222.
Alexei needs to revise his summer and subsequent work due to being deputized by Valerian.
Jormungand has to complete LR's he's sold one in 1221 and one in 1222.
If Renaud comes, we'll say he's 35 in 1222, he might want an LR.
If people want Correspondence XP, they need to get busy and write letters. If your correspondent hasn't been developed by me, include a little blurb about the individual in the letter, if it's the first time you're writing them and they haven't been well defined.
1221 Spring: Princeps Summer: Hoplite Fall: Extracting Vim vis (Cr Vi Lab total 35) 4 pawns extracted Winter: Will spend a Season opening up more space in the Talisman, Highest Arts total: Creo Corpus 43. Will add an additional 3 pawns for now (total space is now 15 pawns), using 3 pawns of Vim Vis.
[strike]If she has a lab,[/strike]she'll be extracting vis each season as a 7-day distraction.
Sends out feelers for lab texts
most to be determined by the Tribunal Prep thread
all building related spells she can find. Preference for ReTe, InTe spells
any Tribunal related enchantments
low level Intellego spells/enchantments to round out the bartering
Spring: Explores the regio, practicing AL:Mons Electi: 7xp, French 4xp. Corresponds with Ra'am on Magic Theory. 1 XP to MT
Summer: Reads The Stag, The Hound, and The Prince of the Seven Crowns (Rego Summa, Level 16 Quality 15)= 15xp. Corresponds with Ra'am on Magic Theory. 1 XP to MT, French 4xp
Fall: Reads The Stag, The Hound, and The Prince of the Seven Crowns (Rego Summa, Level 16 Quality 15) = 15xp. Corresponds with Ra'am on Magic Theory. 1 XP to MT, French 4xp
Winter: Reads The Stag, The Hound, and The Prince of the Seven Crowns (Rego Summa, Level 16 Quality 15) = 15xp. Corresponds with Ra'am on Magic Theory. 1 XP to MT, French 4xp
Theraphosa's Activities for 1222 Spring: Explores the regio. XP to be determined there, but probably includes AL:Mons Electi. French 4xp Summer: [strike]Builds a lab for Viscaria and herself[/strike]. 2 Exposure to MT. Install Greater Focus/Featue Forge Fall: [strike]Builds a lab for Viscaria and herself.[/strike] 2 Exposure to MT. Install Greater Focus/Featue Forge Winter: Teaches Order of Hermes Lore to Ulrich. Gains Teaching (2 Exposure or Practice?)
Note that Theraphosa needs to eat, and may therefore have a substantial impact on the local vermin population in the regio.
Theraphosa will correspond all four seasons on Code of Hermes with the familiar of some NPC. See that thread for recipients (as they may develop on their own).
[color=red]Update: Replace all instances of "Iron Bones" summa with The Stag, The Hound, and The Prince of the Seven Crowns (Rego Summa, Level 16 Quality 15). Still works out to be 15xp, but to Rego instead of Terram.
Update: Had Theraphosa [strike]build us a lab, per JL saying we can find lab space[/strike] work on lab.
Isen 1221: What should I do? Still the 40XP per season or do it the normal way?
If doing lab activities, he'll dedicate 2 seasons to set up a lab.
In another season, he'll read "Illuminating the Body Human" (Corpus Summa).
In the last one, if given the vis, he'll create some enchantment to be given to the covenant, as a thanks for his welcome.
He'll also send letters by redcap, asking for books on Aquam, Creo or Rego. There's no room to improve on these arts in Mons Electi
Isen 1222:
1 season exploring the regio. XP in Area Lore! Mons Electi.
1 season reading "In Flux-Veritas" (Muto Summae)
1 season to create his "Shield of the Frost Giant" spell
1 season to create his "Trap of the Deepest Winter" spell.
Correspondance:
Don't really understand how this works, but he'd be interested by a correspondance in Creo or Rego. Say, he can correspond with Hiems on Rego
Spells to be created:
Shield of the Frost Giant CrAq 30
This creates a wall similar to a "Wall of Protecting Stone", but made of Ice. It can be broken through with bashing weapons or Fire, although, the wall being 1 pace thick, this will take some time (This is still easier than with stone, though)
It tends to create a plain wall, but the shape can be altered using finesse.
Base 3 (Creates Ice in a natural shape), +2 Voice, +2 Sun, + 1 unnatural shape, + 2 size (There's no size indications in the guideline, but it can't be that much lower than the base individual for water, so I'll assume it's comparable to stone)
Trap of the Deepest Winter CrAq 20
Similar to "Shackles of the Frozen Ice" (ReAq 10), saves that it actually creates Ice. The Group target and size ensures a large enough block of ice is created to trap, well, a group.
Base 3, +2 voice, +1 Conc (Will be maintained by the talisman^^), + 2 group
In Korvin's case, he gets 10 xp for the Tribunal and 10 xp for the summer. Just like Fiona does because of her story.
There's a lot of abilities being used, even if they're offscreen, and that could go for the Arts too, if you make a good argument.
Also note that the Scibe is copying Laetitia Summa on Intellego for Korvin. After he studies he will look for a trade book. Perhaps Parma Magica Tracti or Mentem Summa
Does anybody have any plans for Ulrich this year? His dance card is completely blank, as far as I can tell, and he (1) needs a season of instruction and (2) would like to start learning spells. He's currently rockin' a 31 ReHe lab total, a 28 for InHe, and a 23 for the other Herbams.
How much vis is it going to cost Fiona to bond Paul in the spring?
Second one, MuCo is an appropriate TeFo combination for binding a tortoiseshell cat. Your Familiar Bonding Lab Total is 30 +1+6 +5=42, which would be 9 pawns of Muto or Corpus vis or combination thereof, page 104.
The bonding level is 13 + 25 + (5*-3)=23, well within your Lab Total to bind.
I haven't added for 1222 yet, and we have a Summer story starting, so I'll do just the Spring for 1222:
Shriek of the Ominous Blade
R: Personal D: Sun T: Hearing Base 2 +2 Sun, +3 Hearing, Modifications: uses per day 2 (+1), Environmental Trigger Total: 19 2 pawns
As Shriek of the Impending Shafts, but for Metal Te (primarily) weapons.
Lab total: 33
This effect will not be ready by the time Lost Boys begins.
Shriek of the Ominous Blade
R: Personal D: Sun T: Hearing Base 2 +2 Sun, +3 Hearing, Modifications: uses per day 2 (+1), Environmental Trigger Total: 19 2 pawns
As Shriek of the Impending Shafts, but for Metal/Te (primarily) weapons.
Lab total: 33
Accumulated from Spring: 14
Total Accumulation at Summer's end: 28
Cost: 2 Pawns of Intelligo
Couple of points.
Viscaria can be assigned space for a lab. Assume this will be done in council. Regarding the chess pieces they dont have to be kings. You can harvest 6 pawns. Obsidian portal has the break down. There is at least one long, but there can be other pieces representing the two other years of harvest (1221 & 1222). Seisin are public info, so begin expecting inquiries for trade.
R: Personal D: Sun T: Hearing Base 3 +2 Sun, +3 Hearing, Modifications: uses per day 2 (+1), Environmental Trigger Base 3, Total 24 3 pawns
Works as Shriek of the Impending Shafts but on animal attacks and the attacks of a human body.
Lab total: 38 14 points towards finishing project.
