There is a doctor, but he's not a teacher, so he could only teach one person at a time.

Lab Total 65 – Spell Effect Level 30 = 35, resulting in 7 draughts. She will take Exposure experience in Magic Theory. Ulrich will take the same.
Autumn, 1221: teach Ulrich either Medicine or Herbam.
Winter, 1221: Fiona will learn Chirurgy from the Doctor. Ulrich will study Unifying Principles of Our Magic (Q:17 Summa on Magic Theory)

Installing a major Virtue requires two seasons of work, second column page 113 of Covenants (minor takes one season). This above and beyond the refinement required to get your lab ready for such a virtue.
Additionally, your summer season (or another season of your choice to be established in the council thread) is occupied with Princeps duties. The Princeps seasons will be busy enough for characters that they can't really do labwork.
I understand. I thought it was just the two season of refinement allow the greater virtue.
Just to clarify. Tribunal will not affect labwork. The tourney and actual tribunal are about a week long.
