There are a number of different social events described between the three Houses of Hermes books - between the Tribunals, the Moots, the Contests, the publishing of Folios, the Rites, and everything else, I'm wondering what a full sized social calendar for the Order of Hermes would look like:
What years would be busiest? Many of these regular events are on different cycles, so its possible a number of them would sync up, leaving certain covenants nearly bereft of wizards for months at a time, or large parts of the Order concentrated, vulnerable to a series of coordinated strikes from their enemies.
What years are best for political intrigue? Say you're introducing some Breakthrough that a particular mystery cult wouldn't be happy about - could you pick a time you know they'll be too busy to immediately respond and your allies will be free to take advantage of it?
I think there's interesting story potential to be gained from looking at how things line up on the Grand Hermetic Calendar.
