Hi all!

Penetration should not be an issue, as Gloriana can handle 10 MR even with the ritual. She can always spend 1 Confidence to pump the total +3, she has more than she can use, really. And if the circle was drawn in her Lab, she has another +5 from Props.

So Anvy/Leaf/whoever were welcome. The roll for the first Ritual was 73, 13 Penetration, and 69 for the second Ritual, 9 Penetration. Note that I am not adding the Aura strength to the roll, because that increases the MR of Magic-aligned creatures by an equal amount anyway.

On Evandrus's death: what is customary, does Gloriana, as Evandrus's apprentice, inherit his possessions?

Gloriana wants to commission the artistic coven folk for more beautiful ceremonial props, specifically some sort of tribute to Evandrus, for the 4 elements, if at all possible.
She will pester Lucio to pester Patrice to compose an elegiac song.
In fact, she proposes a contest among the artists/craftsmen: whoever comes up with the most moving and appropriate piece of art concerning Evandrus and his legacy as decided by the Council will be crafted a Longevity Ritual by Gloriana at her expense. She is greatly distraught at her paren's passing and the loss of all his incredible wisdom, and will start commemorating the anniversary of his death.
She hopes to be able to take on some of his responsibilities, such as the casting the Aegis, although it will take her several years to be anywhere near as proficient as her old master.

silveroak, Evandrus had a very high spell mastery for the Aegis (he had many masteries, actually). Is this a Neo mercurian thing? Can Gloriana access books on Spell mastery from them?
I figure 2 seasons of Rego, 3 more seasons of Vim, 1 season to learn the spell, 1 season or an adventure to master it, she can cast it at ReVi 30 + 5 Sta + 6 Aura + 10 AL + x Penetration + 1 Mastery = 52 + roll + Pen, + Confidence, pretty close to what we have now with Author, but with less vis expenditure.
