I have a question regarding the supernatural transformation schtick. A monster PC (as per standard archetyp) has chi 3 (magic = 8). He chooses to use to shift these 3 points away from cho to the body attribute. Now, what happens with the magic subattribut. Does it stay at 8? Will it be reduced to 5?
Normally, if a Subattribute is higher then the primary attribute, it is not affected by positive changes in the primary attribut. If the supernatural creature would increased chi from 0 to 1, the magic subattribute of 8 would not change (only if the PC would increase from chi 8 to chi 9). But does it work the other way around?
What if he increases not his chi, but for example his fortune attribute from 3 to 4?
