I see she is a Jerbiton. Why the interest in combat magic to begin with? And why the interest in praising the name of a second rate Flambeau that only accomplished one minor invention worthy of note?

As a Jerbiton, Andreva surely recognizes that all Flambeau are second rate, with meager accomplishments to their name. Even their bluster is second rate.
Why would a maga of culture and refinement wish to attach her own name to a spell suited only to the most vulgar practicality?
