A strange thought occurred to me- I expect this would only potentially be an issue with divine and infernal forces
A few thousand animals are infernally warped- no might so he divine aura doesn't impair them, and then released within a dominion aura- would this impact the aura? It seems to me hat technically it should not and yet the idea of thousands of infernal crows, dogs, or rats infesting a town feels like it should, especially if they outnumber the human inhabitants.
Depends on what they do. Do they incite sin by destroying all the food supplies or by killing babies or by spreading the plague? All the above? then yes, by all means.
If it is just their presence, I lean toward a no and will probably get exterminated by creatures aligned with the present aura if any.

Lets assume that the demonic rats do something Very Evil, like killing babies.
The thing is that since they are animals and without souls that would not actually count as sinning under the normal rules, and thus would not affect an aura.
On the other hand it is hard to see 10,000 demon rats running through the city committing atrocities or even minor atrocities as thematically not carrying some kind of aura taint, even if they were treated as a mobile infernal aura of their own (perhaps due to the residue of whatever demonic forces corrupted them).
It becomes a challenge for the locals. They are certainly in danger, but if they act to help one another and pray for aid, only their lives are at risk, not their souls. A good priest could do a lot to guide people to righteousness. On the other hand, there are likely to be opportunistic demons following in their wake, urging selfish and cruel actions.
Yes, but simply entering an infernal aura does not imperil the soul either.
I mean ultimately I suppose it is a story issue and an SG call, like I said It didn't seem supported vt Raw, but it kind of felt right as an infernal plague situation.
At the same time a level 1 or 2 infernal aura will get crushed by the divine in most cities or large towns...
I don't see why it necessarily would by itself, particularly if those animals were only a little warped. On the other hand, it could. I mean, at Warping 1 you get a Realm-related Flaw, and that Flaw could be (or involve) "if there's thousands of you, that might taint any Aura you might be in".
And of course, seeing something dreadful happen might make any human witnesses lose Hope, strengthening the Infernal.
Well, I very well see it happening with faerie forces too!
And magical creatures strengthening a magic Aura is even canonical, even though that's only true of creatures with Might.
It is not the direct effects that would create the infernal aura but the indirect ones. Baby dies and mother goes rogue and kills herself. Food shortage causes the locals to fight and steal. Rampant sickness leads to people abandoning their neighbours, miss church, fight for their own. I think if the city does not recognize the threat in time and take action, it will spell the end of the prosperity of the city and an infernal aura will dominate.
