No, his LR failed in 1227.4. It will happen in 1228 sometime when we get to it. He needs to have it before 1228.4, though or risk an aging roll without the benefit of having one.
I was unsure when the failure occurred. So V gets 1228.1 and A gets 1228.2
I will try to stabilize my discovery in 1227.4

Also, I don't mean to tell you how to raise your apprentice, but given that 90% of the library's Arts Summae are Quality 14+, if you're a Source Quality 15 for teaching, then I'd be spending that time teaching her skills like Penetration, Finesse or Concentration and letting her read about the Arts.
