Margerethe isn't that worried about pulling her punches – as small as she is, she doubts she could really hurt Babette, even if she weren't rubbish at fighting.
Twigberry calls out, "That'll be enough for today. We'll do the same thing every morning for the next three weeks. Get a good breakfast and be sure to clean up well before Professor Fiona's class. You all stink[1], and you don't want Fiona trying to clean off your stink in first period, or she just might Perdo your arm off."
[1] Playing off the idea that kids in the 10-14 year old range stink more than other kids, because they don't know that their bodies are changing that much.
"Laddie, if you have any free time, I'll be speaking to your professors about it. You'll learn these things in due time. I know enough about working with the staff to defend myself. If it comes to it, I'll be teaching how to use staves. But for now, hands, feet, dodging and grappling moves is what I'm teaching. No, go get cleaned up"
