Fortissimus was a weighty child, seemingly indestructible in fights with other young boys. On realising that this was a gifted child with huge fortitude, his master decided that he had found a worthy apprentice to teach the Mercurian arts to. This student would excel at the rituals of Fenicil, some day. The initial training revealed a slight inclination towards Creo, so he has been taught some Ignem so he can act as a hoplite while he learns more.

Fortissimus has learnt a few more spells, developed a longevity ritual with a +6 aging bonus, and started the path of Fenicil's rituals.

I know what you mean about wordpress. I've been creating my faeries in goggle documents (which has its own issues), then pasting the text into wordpress, which removes all the formatting. I then reformat the wordpress entry, using bolds and italics. I can't seem to make a double return entry in wordpress - to separate paragraphs - so I do that in goggle docs.

Alexandria, as befits a mistress of the Api arts, is strongly influenced by Melancholic personality traits. (If you desire a more aggressive maga, switching envious for vengeful as a major flaw keeps the melancholic theme). Her favourite tactic is to use Bigger Mouth of Hades to drop people into a pit, and then close it in on them the next round, burying those too slow to move. She can just about summon and control the earth elemental required for the land bridge to Amazonia on a good day, assuming she has an arcane connection to boost penetration. Her mistress deliberately initiated her into The Centaur's heart, so she already has inoffensive to animals (limited to horses) matched with the flaw Obsesssed (horses) and is very protective of her battle-sister's mounts.
She deliberately has as few Virtues and Flaws as the character needs to provide room for customisation.

To age by 10 years, I took 6 years for 180 xp - 20 into Amazon chant, 15 into spellcraft, 15 into finesse, 15 into penetration, 10 into cult lore, 19 into Al, 30 into Ma, 18 into Pa, 23 into Ap, 15 into So.
I then did 4 years as 16 seasons in the temple. 10 seasons earnt 20 xp in spellcraft, putting it to 4. Spells developed in level 1 aura.
First 10 seasons: AlAp lab total 31, can create level 15 in a season - creates Aid of Goitosyros with 3 extra size levels (1 million cubic paces) AlAp 15, Even Bigger Mouth of Hades (extra size level) AlAp +15.
MaAp lab total 32, learns Gauge the stones(Determines how much vis is in an inanimate item, MaAp base 10), gauge the melancholic prey (how much vis is in a seen magical animal or earth elemental, base 10 +1 seen stranger), Surveying the distant realm (MaAp 5, detects presence of an aura), Gauge the aura (MaAp 10, determines strength of an aura), discern the regio entrance (MaAp 10, detects presence of a regio)

Appearance: A tanned sailor.

Iskander has surprisingly managed to pick up a decent amount of the Soqotran language and avoided being isolated from the island natives, unlike many sorcerers who were born in Arab lands and brought to the island by the Date tribe. He has married a local woman and picked up the language. As a sailor, he has learnt spells to help heal the sailors and naval troops, protect from shipboard flames, and boost the eyesight of the ship's lookout. As a sailing mage, he gets to travel away from the island so he still runs into relatives in the nearby port he was born in, something the Herons of light try to discourage.

Notes: I find the Aloe grimoire the least inspiring of the four tribes, which is why I worked hard to come up with an interesting mage for them. I've gone rival magic mad, I can only think of non-hermetic magi right now.
