Actual Play Write Up: 1st Crusade Campaign of 1096

I’m going to have to get back eventually to writing some more updates. Unfortunately the game is on a long term pause as of May this year… Combined with a messy divorce I just don’t have energy to type this up. However, I do have a Map!

by the Colors from top left to bottom:

Purple - Byzantine Empire ruled by Alexios I. This includes new Anotolian territories on the coast, as well as the Duchy of Antioch ruled by Godfrey.

Dark Blue - Principality of Armenian Cilicia. Ruled by various princes, but recognize the suzerainty of Alexios I.

Brown - The County of Edessa and the vassal of the Principality of Aleppo, ruled by Baldwin of Boulogne.

Green - The Principality of Aleppo, ruled by Tancred I as Bohemond was kidnapped and is held in Niksar (central-northern Anatolia).

Gold - Duchy of Tripoli, technically a holding Alexios, but de jure property of Prince Aubert I of Damascus. Is the result of an incredibly diplomacy roll to make a deal with Alexios I for imperial support to build a proper bureaucracy to make the Principality of Damascus a more viable long term state.

Red - Principality of Damascus ruled by Aubert I, the PC. Future conquests past the current status of this write up included.

Light Blue - Kingdom of Jerusalem, ruled by Raymond, the current/former Count of Toulouse.
