He'd certainly take a grog with. Have we assigned shield grogs? For this adventure, Taurus will take Paco. Also, I don't think Taurus' magical animal companion was ever defined. I'm thinking some kind of magical bird, but I'll post ideas in the Character Development thread.

Story: While exploring the area around Locri a couple of seasons ago, Taurus and his magical animal companion happened upon an area with a weak magical aura, which unknown to them was the home of a Lost Child. The Child, being a creature of earth and plant with some limited shape-changing abilities, took an interest in the crow riding on the shoulder of this sometimes human, sometimes bull creature, and followed the pair back to the covenant. Upon reaching the Aegis and finding it repulsive, the Child returned to its lair for the Winter, but returned in the Spring. It found the crow outside the Aegis at one point, and captured it, carrying it as gently as it could back to its lair.

Upon discovering that the crow was missing, Taurus went out in search of his companion. After finding the Child's trail, and recognizing the signs from those seen in that magical aura, Taurus tracked the creature and the crow back to its domain. Taurus found the Child's burrow with a spell, and deflected an attack. Becoming angered by the situation, Taurus charged in, only to discover the Child's human aspect. His instinct to protect calves and cubs prevailed over his anger, and Taurus decided to reason with the Child. Casting Form of the Melancholic Beast, Taurus was better able to understand the Child (who tended to take the form of a badger) and convince it through logic and stories of the Order to relinquish the crow.

Quoting from the wiki...
"He has a magical crow as a friend that used to fly over the livestock in Normandy and has followed him south" - but I'm sure retconning it to another magical bird is such a minor change it shouldn't cause a problem.

People going on an adventure need to be chosen before you ask the difficulty and how many cycles. Which is the point of not posting them up front. I have made this clear repeatedly. Therefore Taurus went alone.

Evan starts by writing some of his contacts in the Cult. One of them, invites him to a party to introduce him to a Mystagogue who is rumored to have the script. The party has a lot of Faerie Wine and they quickly get drunk, which leads to them relating stories without much discretion, and generally not making good choices. Even so the group keeps it together enough to be likable and make a good impression on the Mystagogue.

Rewards: quest points- for a quest adventure a 25% boost in points

Silveroak -- is this regarding my question about the shield grog? My apologies on that. I guess I did not respond quickly enough to the adventures, and then I assumed (wrongly obviously) that when magi go on adventures, a shield grog would go with. I'll make sure to indicate that preference before proceeding with adventures from now on. Thanks.

The quest for an Initiation Script has generated some very solid leads, but will require further adventuring to achieve

If we can get the planner filled in we can begin the 1108 adventures.

They count as work for exposure experience, same as any other character with a job- unless I roll that the season turns into an adventure.

(Evandrus Cabal legacy) It has come to the attention of the neo-Mercurians that the Brotherhood of Augustus is exploring ancient sites, and ask Evandrus to form a greater social bond to monitor for signs they may have found any secrets from the Cult of Mercury. Spring- first round social (no omens)

How do bad Omens work? All adventures for the year have +11 difficulty/11 extra botch dice? Or just on the 3 adventures by which they are listed, in that listed amount?.

What about Ouragan, he's player-less, right?

Andros is available to help others in each season who request he do so, he is Reckless and overconfident (actual talents lie more in Combat/Magic Challenges), he will specifically go to 5)Fall with Julien (wow, he's getting the Decrepitude real quick!), Paco, Phillippe the huntsman, and will ask Guglielmo Vintner also, to see if Siderno is wine country.

What happened to the Quest for the Neo Mercurians that Andros went in 1104? Did Evandrus accept the Quest points, with Andros's caveats? If Andros can build rep with them, he can help in 4), if asked.

Camilla is available for Evandrus's company. She will go on 6)Fall unless forbidden, and 4)Spring if he so desires it (gotta build up a rep with the Mercurians). As a budding Faerie magus, she is available for 3)Winter, but can only cast spontaneous spells, although has some decent social skills for faerie situations (+3 Alluring to, +3 Venus's Blessing), but with 5 omens looks like she'd be in bad shape.

I await other players input, like I said, Andros is available to help, but #1 (because it is a Covenant Hook) and #5 (because he initiated it) are the ones he will prioritize.

There is no increase in difficulty, just botch dice. So an adventure with 5 bad omens has a total of 6 botch dice.
