I feel the need to once again mention that area lore:Locri only refers to teh area immediately arround the covenant, and really should not be used for adventures that take place halfway across Italy. not only does it simply not fit beyond being mathematically convenient, it also deprives the covenfolk in an adventure of the opportunity to develop other, more relevant area lores that will come into play when the main narrative game begins...

Oliverius is spending as little time out of his forge-lab as possible. he isn't interested in any adventures.
Neleos remains properly apprenticed and doesn't wander away. Unfortunately for Andros, his apprentice doesn't show any interest in adventures.

Ahh, I had mistakenly thought you had simply moved the Brotherhood's inception date back, Danaë at one point earned Rank 1 Augustan Brotherhood lore in one of the adventures involving the Learned Magicians.

The party shows up to look for the attackers, who are nice enough to oblige by trying to ambush the party. A handful of swordsmen actually get close enough to attack Sandor, but that goes predictably poorly for them. Their archers can't tag him either. To be fair, they did show courage in the face of conjured blades cutting them down. The attackers obviously aren't local, since no local would be stupid enough to attack like that, but the party doesn't figure out much else. The emblems turn out to be poor forgeries after being uncovered. No one actually survived the attackers.

Afterwards the party tries to make friends with the peasants with Anna and Sandor taking the lead in that department. Which all goes well until the peasants throw a celebration for the victory, and someone starts up a bonfire. Anna runs away yelling fire, turns over a table, breaks a couple other things and ends up causing quite the mess. The covenant agrees to pay for the damages, which the peasantry promptly decides to pad. The accountants say the amount is roughly equal to what the group will make selling the arms and armor of the fallen attackers.

Lady A is invited by an old Busybody, Lady Cornetta, who has heard Lady A is quite into the Occult, even consorts with Wizards! So, when this young tramp moves nearby, and the peasantry carry to her the rumor that she is a fortune teller, Lady Cornetta of course had to pay her a visit, "ascertain she is not making a fool of those slothful peasants". Imagine her surprise when this dirty harlot starts speaking in her husband's voice, tone, and mannerisms! And she knows...things, that nobody should know! So Lady Cornetta was going to call the priests on her, when she remembered her dear friend Agniezka. Why, you haven't aged at all! Soon it's obvious that Cornetta is way less interested in solving her mystery Shade-channeling stranger, than in ferreting secrets out of Agniezka and her entourage. So they divide their forces, and Mercurio, Lady A, and Patrice fend the brunt of the noblewoman's attentions and questions, while the rougher, yet super-competent grogs spy on the young seer's hut. They avoid some dark men who watch the area, and observe several of the young lady's sessions with clients. It's clear she has some supernatural powers, but difficult to pinpoint; what she does have is a potent gift for acting, lying, and theatrics. They deliver a message to the young lady directly from Lady A, asking her to leave the area before priests are summoned, and an invitation to visit the Praesidium "and the scholars that dwell therein". Once the grogs make their presence known, and brush off the woman's allies like they were children, the fortune-teller decides to leave. Once she does, Lady A informs Lady Cornetta that her problem has been solved. She is the soul of courtesy, even the wily old noblewoman cannot protest overmuch, and Mercurio has been distracting her with mock (maybe ?) lustful glances and double entendres. They leave with their sanity more or less intact. Lady A thanks the grogs for their help in this enterprise. Awareness, Stealth, Intrigue success

Danaë will attempt to bind a 30 Might jinn! I will use the rolls of the adventure to fill where appropriate. So to bind a 30 Might jinn needs at least 30, she rolled 46, that's a 16 Bond strength. Now, he power needs to penetrate, she has 16 + 8 Penetration x2 (Arcane Connection to locus) = 32, done! (she was learning Artes liberales to create horoscopes, no need just yet). Bargain difficulty is 18 + 9 service to last a year + 3 General Scope + 8 (4 less pawns of vis spent) vs an incredible 31 Bargain + 16 Bond Strength, done! This will be the jinn from the book Tales of Power, Da'ud, actual Jinn of the Oasis, finally she is able to bind him. She spends 15 banked points, 2 Auram vis, and it's done!
