My maga has this spell that turns a part of the earth to gas for a moment (See Sublimation Tomb, in the Net Wizard's Grimoire). She is interested in putting that spell into a magic wand for someone else to use. Now, this is a spell that requires an aiming roll to get the right part and shape of ground that is to be turned into gas. So here's the question. If another mage with this item uses this effect, does he make his own Int + Finesse roll for the aiming, or is it different because he is not actually casting the spell? Another question I have is, can a grog use this wand, and if so, does he make the same roll, or should there be some new martial ability for this, akin to bows, since the grog has no magical ability?
Should be Int+Finesse for anyone using the item. If you want your grogs to be good at it, train them in it for a season or two...
