All Official Open License Content in Markdown format on Github

I added all the official errata and added title + intro text for ROP: Magic, it should be good to move to reviewed I think.
I did find (as usual with the bloody Infernal PDF format and extractions) a couple of dropped paragraphs in places. What I found was sorted but there may be something more.

@frederic I've credited you as your github nic - let me know which name you'd prefer though.

Hi,

I’m very happy that my work could help move the project forward.

I’m still getting familiar with GitHub procedures, so I’m learning as I go.

I started working on Mythic Locations because I noticed the file looked more recent, and I initially just wanted to help rebuild the table of contents. Once that was done, fixing the heading structure became easier, so I ended up doing a bit more there too.

Even so, I’m personally more interested in the Realms of Power books, which I expect to keep working on slowly.

I’ve also noticed two or three small remaining issues in RoP: Magic — one table inside a sidebar, and a few lines still starting with “>”. I’d like to fix those and then open a new pull request for those small remaining issues, if that’s fine with you.

I’m also very pleased to be credited, and the name you used is perfectly fine.

Thanks again — I’m really glad this could be useful to the project.

I've had to stop working on Mythic Locations before I finished the initial pass on it, due to RL issues. So do keep that in mind. I intended to return to it later, when RL will allow me to, but of course I can return to any other file too.

I'm amazed Github doesn't have a simple means for the team to coordinate and communicate.

I’m glad I could help move this file forward.
As I said, my main focus is on the Realms of Power books. I’ve just started working locally on RoP: Faerie — I have a few local tools that help me with the process.
I hope things get better for you on the real-life side.
Best regards.

I added Hedge Magic Revised Edition first manual pass. Still needs Errata, TOC, Premeable, and a general editing review.

Finished an initial cleanup pass on Realms of Power: Faerie and opened a PR.

This PDF was a real mess compared to RoP: Magic — lots of broken tables, mixed columns, damaged inserts, and some missing/displaced paragraph fragments — so I had to check a lot of it manually against the PDF.

It should now be in much better shape for review.

Added first pass of The Lion and the Lily.

Still missing Premeable, TOC, Errata, and second editing pass (including inset placement).

YR7 : I corrected the TOC of The Church. Would you prefer I correct it on your repository or somewhere else?

Well, I think OriginalMadman's repository will be best. He seems to not be available to accept pull requests at the moment, however. If you can't change his repository directly, I suggest we sit on that for a little more time.

I'm around, but real life has been a bit busy lately. Current pull request queue has been merged, and we'll take more. Thank you and keep them coming.

I think a few of these can be moved to "reviewed" state and I'll look closer tomorrow or so.

I've now moved Hedge Magic (Revised), Mythic Locations, ROP Faerie, ROP Magic to the "reviewed" folder and status. License, Markdown credits and intro from back covers are all added (so version is slightly new, if by chance you had a newer version with lots of edits already, use that and just grab the first lines from this. github is also good for the diffs! ).

I'm waiting to review, update and move The Church and Lion and the Lily as it looks like they're being worked on(?)

I'm done with them for my part, for now. I'm going to a final review of The Divine, and try to import over to Project Redcap.

Hi all,

I’m starting work on RoP: The Infernal.

While rebuilding the table of contents in Markdown, I noticed what looks like a small inconsistency in the PDF: on the first page, the introduction text mentions three major parts of the book — “The Nature of Evil,” “That Which Is Evil,” and “Those Who Do Evil” — but these headings do not appear in the printed table of contents, nor as actual divisions in the body of the text.

So for the Markdown file, I’m planning to follow the printed PDF table of contents strictly, and not reintroduce those three part headings.

I also wanted to mention that I’ll be taking my time with this one, because real life is rather crowded for me over the next few days.

I thought it was worth flagging here, both as a note about the source PDF and to mention that I’m now working on The Infernal.

Best,
Frédéric / applejuice1965
