yes,but I was thinking primarraly of armor spikes(temporary)
in that case, you should take Fruny's advice and Read The Spell Description.
After that, try using your imagination, and you might see that the spikes on a staff are like spikes on anything else wooden.
[If you want spikes on metal armour, you need a parallel spell in MuTe]
