Elric didn't want to pry too much, but was curious what would make a fellow Magus just out of Gauntlet to want to take a fight to the Diedne. "Might... might I ask what reason you had to fight the Diedne? I mean, I was terrified of them, and just wanted to run and hide."
"You may ask," replies Thadeus with a strained smile, "but I just say that I have seen firsthand the evil of the Diedne and leave it at that."
By that time, they have walked outside and made their way towards Janus' area. If the Princeps is not too busy, Thadeus will introduce Elric and discuss his desire to join Ungulus. (OOC I am assuming that the discussion can take place off screen, since Janus is now a NPC.)
