Following Aelinius's fruitless meeting with the elders of the covenant an evening meal is provided. The meal is in the Roman style and both the food and wine are excellent.
Genevieve is in attedance and introduces two of her fellows who are also attending.
A middle aged women with pale blond hair and tending towards fat is introduced at Talia Ex Miscallanae .
A very young women seeming barely old enougth to have completed her apprenticeship is introduced as Archmage Marrissa of Bjorear.
All of the mages are dressed in Roman style as are the servants , which contrasts with their celtic tattoo's. The visiting magi are also offerred Roman style clothing before the meal.
Several of the covenfolk join in the evening meal , noticably most are women they are introduced as the leaders of the covenfolk , the most noticable ones are Morrigan the clan chief of the covenfolk , Boudicea leader of the covenant guard and Estraga who is apparently a priestess .
If possible and without causing attention Aelianus asks Roberto.[color=red] What where the point of our visit? Where there any reason that you know that brought us here, they are obviously not interested in buying my creations.

We are here to support our friend Iolar. We don't want her to travel alone, do we? Besides, like I said, if you had brought more items on hand you would have had better luck. The evening meal is splendid in the Roman tradition with excellent food and music.

The young Marrissa sits at the head of the table but rarely speaks unless spoken to, when she does speak her voice is that of a matronly women in the prime of her life. The maga Talia speaks to all of the visitng magi in general terms about their experiences as magi of the world outside.
Roberto is the centre of attention of the women covenfolk who try to charm him and flirt with him while being impressed by his tales of courage and bravery.
Wirth and Clara sit quietly at the table, and Iolar does not make an appearance

And, asuming that they are all equally beautiful and charming, shich one seems the most ferocious? Though Roberto is not planning anything, his subconscious mating instincts will naturally seek out the most agressive fierce mate possible in order that he will have strong offspring. BUT, Roberto is not planning procreation. I am just keying you into his subconscious, so that you can better understand him. He ist just flirting and having fun for now. AND, mind you, Roberto pays most of his attention to the other magi he is visiting.
Boudicea is the most militant and fierce of the womenfolk of the covenant then again she is also the commander of their guards. Oddly enougth none of the covenfolk seem to have been effected by the magi's gift when dealing with them which is unnusual when Roberto thinks about it.
The magi are not particularly seeking out Roberto's company unless he seeks out theirs.

No one is going to try and kill you here, you all came at Marrissa's invitation that would be a mortal insult to her and she would be upset at whoever tried to cause a guest harm which would be unfortunate for them
From times to times during the conversation with the other magi Aelianus looks envious at the attention that Roberto is given by the ladies. He then comfort himself with the thought of Diodorus and tries to forget the women.
Boudicea is the one he is most interested in then! I follow her lead. Women are the ones who make the decisions in such matters. Men have little or no choice what so ever. I follow the Robert Heinlien school
Iolar has not come down to the evening meal, one of the servants will mention that she thinks that Iolar went out flying before the meal , certainly an eagle was flying and Marissa is here.
Outside there is no immediate sign of Iolar, certainly none of the Tree's you can see have a great eagle perched in them. Boudiccea follows Roberto outside.
