Not to mention, you are (or seem to be) rather pretentious when you assume (or seem to assume) you know the answers to life's hard questions better than your players.

A Storyteller should keep in mind he only knows better because he has all the cards, not because he's in any way wiser or more clever than his players.

In my eyes such questions, even if not having used it myself, shouldn't been aboout holding the player accountable to the minute details of his character in a matter of seconds, but rather to continue the creative process of generation.
