So far as the Mirror of Contemplation goes, my thought was that the dreamscape allows for the user to discern creative ways of solving problems.

Alright, I want to do the last three years of advancement from 1267. I'm going to skip over the Tribunal, we can run it on the side as back story, flashback style stuff.

Staff have to get to Hermetic Instruction up to at least 2. Elizabeth is a horrible teacher, so for a full class she teaches at SQ 3. She teaches in Winter and Spring. All teachers in each available class will get to a total XP of 18. If you guys want to figure out how to maximize her teaching, and do classes of 2 students so that you can cut the time down a bit, feel free, but it's not an exercise I'm going to go through. I'm still counting Ealsaid and also Laterala needs to be in the mix.

Teachers with a Latin 4, will need to raise their Latin to 5, there are three Latin tractatus of Q9 available, so it will take 3 seasons, unless you can convince a PC to teach you. I can come up with a Latin Summa to be used, too.

Players also have the option of packing up their magus's lab and relocating it to Heviz. That costs 2 seasons, one to pack up and one to set back up. You also need to cover the silver cost in breakage for relocating. House Tremere and House Bonisagus will also relocate the lab with the Ambulatory Laboratory, and will provide a magus with a decent Finesse score to do this. I'll do the roll for Finesse, if you go this route. So this is a choice between risk and time.

Magi will then have any remaining seasons out of the 12 provided to do whatever it is they wish. Magi will be paid for the seasons that they are taught Hermetic Instruction.

Am I missing anything else?

Speaking of nice thing to have: I really wish we had one central write up of everything we're supposed to know for making the Instructors. Currently it's spread across multiple pages of at least 3 threads.

I will cop to being bad about not regrouping things. How will you help me out? Right now I'm a bit busy with work until mid May. But I will say that you have been the only vocal one. I'm all for better organizing stuff, you need to give me a hand, or you need to wait a bit.

Is the 80 BP for our labs at the school or elsewhere? In Clement's case his lab is in Lycaneon. Is the 80 BP?

Yeah, Fabrica would move the lab himself. He's too arrogant to allow another to cast a spell on his belongings and also paranoid enough to think they'd be trying to steal things. So he'll take the two seasons and spend the silver. I also have to have him learn Hermetic Instruction, is that though just a regular Ability or is it in fact a Supernatural Ability that he'd have to be initiated into?

What resources do we have at the school to advance? Just practice/exposure and whatever Tractatus or teachers/experts we bring?

Her plans for exploring Hévíz is three-fold: see who and what's in the area, especially the village; find out where we might be able to find specialists, workers, craftsmen, etc. for the school (to fill any holes we haven't filled yet), and to get a good feel for the local flora and fauna so she can have an idea of where to go if we need wolfsbane or nightwort or something.

So Elizabeth is SQ3 with 5 students? So a 6 with 2 students? Is that right?

For Winter of 1269 and perhaps all of 1270 I figure he should make an item that he can likely produce multiple copies of in that year (which is not something he'd ordinarily do, but for the sake of the school's success he will). Something for the students, I was thinking perhaps robes or a piece of jewelry. The intent is to make an item that will both protect them and also give the teachers some information on them, via an easy scrying. Any ideas?

I knew i was missing something. OK, i'll go back and fix this up. One of the things I wanted to do was hear from the other magi for item requests. Like I was saying, I fgure in 1270 he could make items for the students. A generic idea was a simple item like robes that provided extra protection and gave us a quick (AC) for scrying. Something like that. He can likely make two rather powerful items in a year, or a few lesser items. For example, he could make some Items of Virtue that can help with using specific Abilities.

We could maybe open a thread and do that in character as the teachers go over their methods and needs?

The remaining seasons (Fall 1268, Summer and Fall 1269, all of 1270) will be in the lab making items. That's seven seasons, enough time for some serious production. As I was going through his history it occurred to me that he didn't make as many items as he could have, so I'd like to have him catch up a bit.

So, having said that. Ideas, requests, suggestions? He can make Items of Quality, and reforge items (allowing to pack and stack abilities into existing items). The other Mysteries he has don't provide items for the School per se.

If we have 6 magi in need of training from Elizabeth, I don't think there are enough seasons for her to only teach two magi @ 6xp/season. To get to level 2, that would require 3 seasons for each pair of magi, or 9 seasons to process all 3 pairs of magi. Given that's she's only teaching Winter and Spring for these 3 years, that's only 6 seasons of teaching available. That's not enough time.

I think we're going to have to bite the bullet and just have to take the 3xp for multiple seasons, but that'll get us all covered.

Oh, it's easily possible to reduce the total number of seasons spent learning from Elizabeth. It's an exercise for the troupe.
