One of the enhancements for monsters gives it the "following ability". What exactly does this mean? I looked through the rules but couldnt find any info on it at all.
Can you be more specific which card? I can't recall which one that could be.

The ability is that any fiend that hits with magic also tips the opponent. The normal effect of this bane is a +1 for monsters initiating attacks with magic (any monster), but fiends in particular gain the ability to tip the opponent if succesfully hit. It's in the card.
