Powers:
Blinding the Predator's Eye
0 points, Init +7, Imaginem
R:Personal D:Sun T:Individual
Elijah becomes totally invisible, except for his shadow, which being particularly small is particularly difficult for most to notice. He may move about freely, as the effect accounts for this.
(Personal Power: PeIm, Base 4 + 2 Sun + 1 changing image -2 Might cost for 25 levels total, with 4 mastery points for +4 Init)

Suppressing the Magpie's Handiwork
R:Touch D:Conc T:Individual
0 points, Init +3, Vim
As if casting Suppressing the Wizard's Handiwork at a level of 25. Mostly used to suppress his invisibility without risking dispelling it.
(Personal Power:ReVi, Base +1 Touch +1 Conc -2 might cost for 35 levels total, with 3 mastery points for -3 might cost)

Maintaining the Demanding Spell
0 points, Init +3, Vim
R:Touch D:Diameter T:Individual
As a level 25 version of Maintaining the Demanding Spell. Elijah uses this to avoid concentration over longer periods.
(Personal Power: ReVi, Base +1 Touch +1 Diameter -2 Might cost for 35 levels total, with 3 mastery points for -3 might cost)

Unseen Hands
1 point, Init +3, Terram
R:Voice D:Conc T:Ind
Lets Elijah move objects he cannot manipulate with his beak, similar to 'Unseen Arm'. It is weaker than the version commonly known by certain magical animals, and requires him to expend Might, so he only uses it when he feels it is genuinely necessary.
(Personal Power:ReTe, Base 2 +2 Voice +1 Conc 5 levels total)

Sight Beyond Sight
1 point, Init +5, Imaginem
R: Per, D: Conc, T: Vision
All five senses of the creature operate
at a distance, as far as the creature can see.
This gives the creature supernaturally aware
of everything which occurs, and it is exceptionally
difficult to catch it by surprise
InIm 30 (base 5, +1 Conc, +4 Vision):
Personal Power x 2 (20 levels, –2 Might
cost, +2 Init)

Grant Good Teacher
5 points, Init -5, Vim
R:Touch D:Mom T:Ind, Ritual
Grants a single target the Good Teacher minor virtue, either temporarily or permanently. The permanent version would require the sacrifice of Elijah's entire Confidence pool, or a combination of Confidence and valuable vis, and he has never used it for this reason, although a rare few occasions have allowed him to use the temporary version.
(Ritual Power:No Hermetic Equivalent)

Vis: 1 pawn of Intellego, in beak. When he creates vis through his own powers, it is usually by plucking one of his own feathers.

Notes: Familiar with the Latin and Arabic writing forms, although not actually very good at the process of actually writing.

Elijah is a magic bird who REALLY likes to learn new things, and doesn't understand why humans usually throw rocks at him when he tries to make new friends.(Magical Air, Magical Monster) He also likes to cause trouble and then watch it unfold, although he usually is patient enough to wait until he understands the lay of an area before stirring the pot. He has heard of the Order of Hermes in the process of learning new things, and would be very interested in learning what they know, especially about magic. Almost all of his friends are other magical animals who are Unaffected by the Gift, as his Magical Air does not disturb them. He hasn't actually figured this out, he just thinks lots of creatures hate magpies.

Given the number of easily accessible powerful magic auras in the area, and that he can fly, Malta would be very attractive as a place to visit.

I see nine points in flaws and 10 points in virtues...

I think I may end up doing a different companion character altogether, although this guy was fun to put together.

He'd fit in just fine with the familiars, but you may wish a companion who is useful in a wider variety of situations.
