The gryphon returns to the tower and grins toothily at Guida "so do you show me the honor I deserve or do you spend your days here in this tower?"
Guida gets geared up first, but sure, she'll lay on her back. She does have some reluctance.
The gryphon reaches in and sniffs at her belly, then growls when it encounters her armor.
Fiore gracefully takes the knife from Gretel, and puts it back in it's place. He seems to feel more complete now.
Guida stands up. "Allright, beautiful bird, you've had me on my back. May I go now?"
The gryphon roars "For this insult? You laid on your back, but you did not submit, you did not expose yourself to my strength and make yourself vulnerable! You laid on your back and covered your belly in metal!" It flies off of the tower and begins circling.
"You'll forgive me, but us virgins can be a bit of a prude. I prefer not to show my belly to be licked by someone I just met." Well, unless he's very cute she thinks. "That, and I'm sure it tickles."
He is no longer there or listening.
"Fiore, where did he go?" (due to GM clarification)
You can still see him, he is circling about 30 paces away from the tower.
Gretel looks up the tower, frowning when she sees the gryphon leave the window and start circling out. She glances over at Fiore. After a moment, she places her fists on her hips and calls out to the gryphon.
"Lord Aquiline! Lord Aquiline! What happened with our friend? Please help!"
Fiore is torn, between not wanting to leave Guida behind, and not wanting to anger the griffin, so he does the next best thing, and tries his best to find a shrub or a tree to hide.
Guida observes from the tower window to see if there is any reaction to Gretel's call. She also looks at whether the rose bush at the entrance has regrown or not.
The rosebush has regrown, and Aquiline appears to be ignoring Gretel.
Gretel looks over at Fiore with a disapproving shake of her head. She considers the situation, looking up the tower to the window and then back at the gryphon.
"What a mess this is now. Even the sculleries know nothing good comes of not giving nobles the deference they are due," she mutters mostly to herself given that the dagger man is seeking a hiding spot in the bushes and the woman is still bound up in the tower.
"Herr Konig! If you're listening, can you offer any advice or help?" She makes a common folk superstition gesture with her right hand (likely a folks version of an invito or mendico gesture) , one used in supplication or invitation rather than warding.
There is no response from Herr Konig.
"Fiore, you go ahead with Gretel and escort her to safety. I'll catch up with you shortly. If I don't... speak to Ana. She has a lock of my hair if she needs to find me."
Fiore hesitates a bit, but then grabs Gretel, and takes her towards the rose bush. "Come, let's see if we can cross this barrier".
Whenever you feel like attacking the rosebush, roll your initiative and attack.
"Do you have a flint?" asks Gretel as they look at the rose bush. "Sometimes thorny roses need to be burned to get them under control."
