OK. My only concern was that it didn't get accepted without some changes. That works for me.
Wait, do you mean Gift of the Lizards Tail? It was the only one I can think of that was MuCo (actually something like Cr(Mu)Cu(An)), level 50, and let the target slowly regrow a part of the body over months or seasons depending.
Because that one was 2 upvotes when I made my list with no downvotes.
Gift of the Lizard's Tail had 3 upvotes when I looked at it today, so was moved to the final.
I think Callen was talking about the spell to increase the size of a limb of the target to hinder them.
Oh, the "Fat Head" spell. Yea that one would have been lucky to get "review later".
Yes, that spell.
Well we are down to 37 spells. 7 have 3+ upvotes, 13 have 2 upvotes, 1 has 2 upvotes and 2 downvotes, 4 have 1 upvote, and 7 have no votes. There are also a couple have a downvote to round out the numbers.
So now it is just waiting for people to get enough free time to make a pass through to clear out most of them. Some are ones that someone made an initial downvote but have been edited extensively since and so they might want to consider changing their vote. That 2&2 one (Callen's happy spell) might be stuck.
I'll try to make a pass through PeCo and ReCo to see what I've missed for thumbs. I know I've done a lot of thumbs in them, but I'm sure I've missed some.
I've gone through the rest of Corpus to make sure I did thumbs on things that look settled. I think we only have a handful still being debated.
I am resisting opening the Herbam file to keep the focus and close what looks like the most challenging - so far - Form.
Corpus was the largest, followed by Animal. Just those two were almost a third of the initial document. So while it seems like we are will only be a quarter done when we finish Corpus, we will actually be more than that.
If those two were a third of the original, and if the other 8 were fairly evenly split, then each of the those eight would be 1/12 of the whole. Then we will have finished 1/3+2/12=1/2 when we're through Corpus, neglecting the issues of needing to revisit a few spells (for which we happily already have notes) and needing to do a final pass for editing of the English. This thing is going to be a huge document, isn't it?
It was a huge document from the get-go, once I started compiling the spells.
But from experience, Once it all goes though InDesign, the page count is gonna drop somewhat. But I estimate it might end up at about 200-250 pages
I was about to guess 200~300 pages, but decided to wait on your comment. It will make a nice complement to ArMD I think. Maybe ask David to give it a look over before release.
EDIT: If we are really crazy, we can also do the "Book of Enchanted Items", though that would be smaller. Even if we don't do that as a group I still might at least compile all of my enchanted items as a release. That is over 150 items in just two threads.
I have complied a file of Enchanted Items & Familiar Bond Enchantments. But I want to focus on the Fan Grimoire first
I think a book of enchanted items will be useful, as long as it proposes items with interesting design, not just piling up basic spells: using the environmental trigger or linked trigger, or showing an effect that cannot be achieved with a simple spell, but a magical item can. Obviously with all the calculation done so readers can use it as example to illustrate how items are designed, not just like treasure to be looted.
Let me about any Spells that need to be moved to final file, discarded, or moved to Review later.
I did a read through, trying to break down each spell left.

Spells that all share the same Issue (Discuss on Forums?)
Suppress the Harvest of War, Encircled

Suppress the Harvest of the Warband
All of them "dull" rather than block sensations, making them much more powerful than the RAW spell they are based on by removing its biggest disadvantage. All need to be edited to bring them in line with Endurance of the Berserkers and The Tireless Flight.
Spells with Conflicting Votes (Possible save till later, unless people change their votes)
The Caress of Magic (Has 3 upvotes and 2 downvotes)
Spells with conflicting spells (They need to be de-conflicted)
Hera's Indignant Blessing vs Silence the Babbling Fool ( Muto vs no Muto for Duration Perdo)
That is every spell still under review in the current document.
Thanks for this, will get to it tomorrow.
All spells to be moved have been moved
The rewrite of From Ural's Height already has 3 upvotes. So does Conjuring the Deceased Obedient Slave.
We could fix Hera's Indignant Blessing and Silence the Babbling Fool by making them Base 20 and removing Muto. Unless someone doesn't think the Mag for Duration is enough to cover the removal of the drawbacks after a set time that would heal as if a Heavy Wound if cast Momentary.
EDIT: We would also need to remove the last line of Hera's Indignant Blessing , but that was already agreed upon.
