Final battle of the Schism War?

Gang, can anyone remind me of where the final battle was? I'm doing a podcast for ANZAC Day and I need to mark a geographical point for one of the story seeds.

Wasn't it at the Diedne Domus Magnus in France? I think the 2e OoH book had a location.

I seem to recall Anglesey Island, Wales. Checking my timeline:

Battle of the Tempest, 1012, per The Tempest.

However, there is record of fighting as late as 1016: Oakdell Covenant razed, per GotF.

I abandoned updating my timeline in 2006, though, so that is not the last word on it.

In 5th edition, The Lion & The Lily p28 has a box on destroyed covenants and mentions Branugurix, near Mount Dol in Brittany, was destroyed in the climactic battle of the Schism war. p36 mentions the menhir of Champ-Dolent marking the final battle of the Schism war.

tL&tL makes it sounds like 1012 was the end. The timeline says the final battle in 1012 was called The Tempest, but the war isn't declared over until 1018. I seem to remember there's an inconsistency in HoH:TL about the timings of the Schism war. The timeline at the back of that says the Schism war ends in 107.

Clearly after the Tempest there's 5-6 years of mopping up or something.

I took the conflicting dates to mean that the final battle occurred sometime in 1012 but hold outs and guerrilla style ambushes continued for much later. Not sure if sieges of Covenants would have been included in the latter category. Since a formal surrender would be impossible, I also held that the war was declared over after they could not find anymore Diedne for quite some time. I certainly felt that the last recorded fighting took place no later than 1017.

Not sure if this helps, but...

This doesn't name a location or fix a date, but it is a reference to there having been a "final battle", and is the only fifth edition mention of the name Llewellyn and fixes him as being present at that final battle. There is also a bit in Sub Rosa on Val-Negra that mentions the necromancer Archmagus Abaddon of Tytalus led an army of slave specters in that battle.
