Just a little question about the folk witch:
Can she use the magic resistance of her familar ?
"Neither needs to overcome the other's Magic Resistance in order to affect him or her with a magical effect" HMRE pg 42
Sounds like the answer is "yes" which I suppose, finally explains why it's so hard for Folk Witches to bind powerful familiars....
The way I read it, no.
That's the way I read it too.
That is just to cover the (rare) circumstance where a folk witch does have a Magic Resistance for some other reason. For example, she has a holy relic, or is the pope.
Are you suggesting something about our Holy Pope silvester?
