Hi Everyone,

I had this scenario come up this weekend and can not find the answer else where. In the Cthulhu version of Gloom, there is an event card where you can play any modifier as the top modifier under an untimely death card. Can that modifier make the character positive?

My friend's argument was it only says the character has to have a negative self worth to kill it, not that it has to remain negative. The card also does not say any restrictions on it.

Can you make a character positive after it dies or does a character have to remain negative once dead?

Hi there bchild. I moved your post to a better location, since that area was for RPG stuff. You didn't give me the actual name/ text of the event card, but from your description I'd say the entire point of that card is to make the dead character positive!
