how would you fine people make a lab that specializes in silly magic but isn't risky?
I was thinking of jester hats and such for decoration at least myself.
Just got to pump that lab "warping" score. Maybe use Amethyst and Pine in the construction, in an attempt to direct the "personality" of the warping.
what would the benifits be thogh?

Actually increasing warping of the lab is a pretty big benefit for trying to "optimize" spells. Sure the result changes, but that means it has a chance for an improved effect, or something totally non-Hermetic!
