Help! Chucking Things About

After a hiatus to proof and lay out some Ars Magica books, I'm back to work on Glimpse of the Abyss. One of the creatures I'm working on has the ability, essentially, to animate a junkyard. I have this feeling that there's an existing schtick or sorcery ability floating around in one of the sourcebooks (or right under my nose in the core book, for that matter) that basically deals with telekinesis. I have the specific phrase "chucking things about" stuck in my memory — that's a header, or the name of the power, or something like that. Or I could be completely high.

Someone lend me a clue, please! Much better to re-use existing rules than make up more.

It's a part of the Movement sorcery schtick. It covers gross movement of objects. Fine control is covered by the Remote Manipulation special effect.

"Animated Junkyard"

Sounds promising. :exclamation:

Thank you both!

(And thank goodness I was not insane.)

If that's not quite what you're looking for... another option might be to use the Summoning: Object Bind effect from Thorns of the Lotus. Not quite sure how the Bod/Ref attributes would work, but that would give you more of an "Animate Object" type effect, allowing the pile of junk to move around and attack on its own.

Animated Junkyard..............sounds like someone is fixing to have a fight Optimus Prime (sp)
