Abdullah has been a mercenary for the Crusading armies for more than 9 years, joining with his older cousin for the foreign coin. He does not get a lot of respect for this, but the pay is good. At one time he worked for an older woman who needed a burly young man to protect her on her travels. The last he heard she was headed into the lands of Romania. Believing his fortunes might change, he set out after her, picking up a bit of the language along the way.
